OOU Post-UTME Form 2026/2027: Is It Out, Portal Link, How to Apply

Yes, the OOU Post-UTME Form for 2026/2027 Is Out

If you chose Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) as your first choice on JAMB 2026, this is the page you need. The OOU Post-UTME screening form for the 2026/2027 academic session has been officially released and the portal is open for registration.

Don't delay. The OOU Post-UTME portal gets busy close to the closing date. Registering early means fewer technical problems and a calmer process.

Before you continue, also check our JAMB 2026 cut-off marks and course guide — it covers the national cut-off picture and helps you understand where OOU sits.

OOU Post-UTME Portal Link (Official)

The official OOU Post-UTME registration portal is putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng

Applicants can use the portal to create a profile with their JAMB registration number, complete the screening form, update application details, and check their results.

Do not use any other website or pay anyone outside this portal. OOU does not work with agents. If anyone asks for money outside this process, it is a scam.

OOU Post-UTME Screening Format

The OOU Post-UTME is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam tests you on your JAMB subject areas — if you applied for a Science course, expect questions in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics depending on your chosen course.

The main screening venue is at the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye. Your specific hall and seat will be printed on your exam pass.

OOU Cut-Off Marks by Course (2026/2027)

The general OOU cut-off mark is 160. However, competitive courses require much higher JAMB scores. Here is a breakdown:

  • Medicine and Surgery — 270
  • Nursing Science — 240
  • Pharmacy — 240
  • Physiotherapy — 220
  • Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering — 200+
  • Computer Science — 200
  • Biochemistry, Microbiology — 200
  • Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics — 200
  • English, History — 200
  • Most other Arts and Education courses — 160–180
  • Most Agricultural courses — 160–180

If you scored 270 or above, you are competitive for almost every course in OOU. Medicine remains one of the toughest courses to gain admission into — higher scores are always safer.

How OOU Calculates Your Aggregate Score

Many candidates focus too much on their JAMB score and forget that the Post-UTME carries equal weight at OOU.

OOU aggregate = (JAMB ÷ 8) + (Post-UTME ÷ 2)

JAMB is out of 400, Post-UTME is out of 100. Both are equally weighted at 50%, giving a final aggregate out of 100.

Here is a quick example: if you scored 240 in JAMB and 65 in the Post-UTME, your aggregate would be (240 ÷ 8) + (65 ÷ 2) = 30 + 32.5 = 62.5 out of 100.

O'Level credits are not used in the aggregate calculation — they only serve as subject requirements for your chosen course. But you must still have the required credits, or you will not be admitted regardless of your aggregate.

What to Do After Registration

  • Keep checking the portal and your email for your exam date and venue update
  • Start practising with OOU Post-UTME past questions immediately — the CBT format and question patterns are consistent across sessions
  • Make sure your O'Level results are uploaded correctly on your JAMB CAPS profile
  • After the exam, check your result on the same portal using your JAMB registration number
